"My typical overall design intent is 3 fold. First, I want to create an enjoyable and useable outdoor space for my clients that is both functional and aesthetically breathtaking. Secondly, I design with sustainability in mind always, utilizing low water, native pollinating plants, irrigation controlled watering as well as passive water harvesting. Finally, I want my design to ultimately serve not only my clients and their guests but additionally I want my finished projects to be lively habitats for native fauna such as butterflies, hummingbirds, and songbirds"
ABOUT ME
Although he only does design now, Josh has been designing as well as installing one-of-a-kind residential gardens in the Tucson area for over 20 years. His local gardens have won a dozen design awards from the Association of Professional Landscape Designers and more than 15 construction awards with the Arizona Landscape Contractor’s Association.
Josh also has a master's degree from the University of Arizona in Landscape Architecture. Additionally, he has been a licensed landscape contractor with the AZ ROC for much of his career and has been a certified landscape designer with the Association of Professional Landscape Designers.

THE PROCESS
Meet Josh for a free consultation to discuss the project. Based on the size and intricacies of the space, Josh will prepare a competitively priced design proposal. If accepted, Josh works closely with the client to create a unique and detailed design on a large scale 24” x 36” plan sheet. The design is based on information gathered during the initial consult and further communications throughout the process.
Josh meets with the clients to present and explain the design at least once throughout the process. Based on client feedback, changes are made to the design to create the final design plans expertly tailored to the clients desires and wishes.
From this detailed plan sheet or sheets, clients can get bids from local landscape contractors for installation. Additionally, Josh is available for a fee for project consulting during the installation process as desired.
Pricing
Most detailed residential landscape designs cost between $1000 to $1500.
